Genesis+HOCl began with a singular focus: atomizing hypochlorous acid
to help create a more complete approach to everyday cleaning—because clean
shouldn't stop at surfaces. Built on 30+ years serving healthcare professionals, Genesis was founded on a commitment to providing innovative solutions for cleaner clinical environments.
When a holistically minded dentist saw HOCl atomizing being used very effectively in Japan, she asked us to source the technology for her. That was the genesis of Genesis + HOCl.
The Genesis 2.6 represents a breakthrough in indoor environmental cleaning, helping medical offices, animal care centers, fitness studios, restaurants, churches, schools, and countless other facilities maintain cleaner air and surfaces safely and efficiently.
Our customers loved the Genesis 2.6 so much that many requested a "set it and forget it" option for smaller spaces. We were happy to answer that demand with the Genesis UX4 Stationary Atomizer, bringing this same trusted technology into homes and everyday living spaces.
The name Genesis is intended to reflect the Biblical account in Genesis 2:6: "...and a
mist was going up from the land." Just as a mist rose from the earth "In the Beginning,"
HOCl atomizing helps create a cleaner indoor environment, treating both the air you breathe and the surfaces you touch.

2020
Our Flagship Product
Back in 2020, few had heard of Hypochlorous or HOCl atomizing. Fast forward five years, and Genesis+HOCl is now the first name in HOCl atomizing technology. A simple Google search of 'HOCl atomizing' reveals Genesis as the top brand in this category—proof of our industry leadership and growing impact.
The future is bright for HOCl atomizing.
2021
Awarded Category Spotlight in 'Air Purification and Disinfection' Category
Genesis received national recognition for a brand new category 'Air Purification and Disinfection' in the dental industry's leading trade publication, Dental Product Shopper.
2022
One of America's Leading Doctors Endorses Genesis+HOCl
In February 2022, we introduced our HOCl atomizing technology to a wider audience through radio on the America Outloud network. At a time when COVID-19 was still a concern, people were looking for better ways to improve indoor air quality. One of the nation’s leading cardiologists, known for his work in early COVID treatment, launched a podcast that became a trusted source of information during the pandemic.
2023
Our First National Radio Advertising Campaign
In the Fall of 2023, Genesis partnered with WGN Radio 720 in Chicago (interview). That summer, Chicago experienced some of the worst air quality in the country, making "air quality" a top concern for residents. While we couldn’t clean the outdoor air, our HOCl technology offered a powerful solution for the spaces where it matters most—indoors, where we spend the majority of our time. And afternoon radio host, Lisa Dent, enthusiastically endorsed Genesis+HOCl.
2024
Genesis Goes to Washington
In honor of National Clean Air Month, Genesis+HOCl was showcased on Great Day Washington (WUSA9) on May 21, 2024. The feature highlighted the importance of cleaner, healthier indoor air and how Genesis+HOCl brings nature and science together to elevate indoor air quality and surface freshness using cutting-edge HOCl atomizing technology.

HouseSmarts Radio with Lou Manfredini
Genesis+HOCl was recently featured on Lou Manfredini’s HouseSmarts Radio program, broadcast from Chicago on WGN Radio 720. Known as “Mr. Fix-It” for more than 30 years, Manfredini praised the technology as a powerful way to improve indoor air quality.
